Zarqa University held a celebration on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, attended by the Secretary-General of the Jordan Paralympic Committee, Mr. Mutaz Al-Junaidi, the university’s Vice President, and a number of faculty members and students.

During the event, the university honored several students with disabilities. The celebration included various activities and speeches, with the Secretary-General of the Jordan Paralympic Committee delivering a speech in which he thanked Zarqa University for its initiative and its commitment to supporting students with disabilities.

The university affirmed its encouragement for students with disabilities to engage in sports for persons with disabilities, in cooperation with the Jordan Paralympic Committee. It highlighted the significance of sports in showcasing the talents and abilities of persons with disabilities and promoting their inclusion.
